As part of Iraq’s ongoing efforts to enhance insurance inclusion and expand access to healthcare, the Iraqi Insurance Bureau has announced a strategic partnership with the Health Insurance Authority to provide health insurance coverage for visitors and expatriates.

The initiative enables licensed insurance companies to issue customized health insurance policies covering emergency cases and essential services, in line with regulatory standards set by the bureau.

According to the Head of the Insurance Bureau, this collaboration marks a significant step toward ensuring fair and comprehensive health services for all individuals present in Iraq.
